Think of three of us, and I realise that we have always been so different, yet we have so much in common! Thanks to our parents who gave us the wings to be our self! It was indeed a bold step when we had society around who was running after some set norms! Our parents not only had faith in whatever we were doing, but also had appreciation, and encouragement to excel in that particular domain! This has resulted in the unique but diverse career paths that we could choose for ourselves!
As the ‘eldest’ I am proud for my siblings! Dr. Shrikant who has excelled in the niche domain of ‘critical care’, not only as a successful Intensivist, but also as a sought after faculty member in the academic conferences and symposiums! Neelima showed her determination to head back to Music, and secured first place when she completed her post graduate degree in Music, that to after a long gap of ~10 years. Her tryst with Music has now blossomed in a new avatar, where she manages and teaches at a Music Academy!
Remembering both of you today, as we celebrate the ‘Bhaubeej’! Wishing you a happy, prosperous and healthy life ahead!
